Features

School Finder Tool

Not sure which school to search for? This tool displays a list of all public schools located near a specified address. Sort through all nearby schools by academic performance (star rating), enrollment, or student population. Find any district school, public charter school, and/or a magnet school located closest to a specified zip code.

Equity Data

The portal includes student performance data by subgroup, an important component to assess how a school is serving all student populations.

Year-Over-Year Comparison

The portal displays the most recent school performance data, including the change in results year-over-year (increased, decreased or stayed the same).

School Comparison

In response to community feedback, a comparison feature is available to get side-by-side comparisons of up to three schools of the same grade configuration (elementary, middle, or high).

To use the school comparison tool, click or tap the school comparison icon  for a given school. This will add the school to your comparison count. You can find your comparison count (EG: ⅓) docked to the right-hand side of your screen or device. You may add up to three schools but need a minimum of two schools to generate a comparison report. When you have selected your intended schools to compare, click or tap on the comparison widget to generate a report. You must first confirm the schools you would like to compare in a popup. From this popup, you have the option to delete schools or add more. Once you have finalized your comparison choices, click or tap “See Comparison.” This will take you to your comparison report.

Reports

Using our Reports feature, you can see how a school district is doing, how Nevada high school students compare to others in terms of college and career readiness, how schools in your district or zip code are performing, and more.
